Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters — and we mean that. Proxy Sniper is built for transparency, performance, and anonymity. We don’t care who you are. We care that your proxies work. Here’s exactly what we collect (and what we don’t).
1. Analytics with Matomo
We use Matomo, a privacy-respecting analytics platform, to understand how people use the site.
Unlike Google Analytics, it’s hosted entirely on our own servers (analytics.proxysniper.com
) and gives us insight without compromising your data.
- Your IP address is anonymized — the last two bytes are wiped.
- No fingerprints, unique IDs, or personally identifying info is stored.
- Tracking cookies are only used if you give explicit consent.
- We never share data with ad networks or third-party platforms.
Want the technical details? Read Matomo’s privacy documentation.
2. Cookie Usage
Our cookie policy is simple: only store what you agree to. When you first visit Proxy Sniper, you'll see a cookie banner asking if you'd like to enable analytics.
- Accept: Enables Matomo and sets a small cookie to remember your choice.
- Reject: No analytics, no cookies beyond your opt-out setting.
We don’t use cookies for advertising, tracking across other sites, or creepy retargeting.
3. What We Don’t Collect
Let’s be clear — unless you fill out our contact form, we don’t ask for or store:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Any payment information
- Your exact location
The site is fully usable without ever telling us who you are.
4. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you’re in a jurisdiction with strong privacy laws (like the EU or California), you have rights. We fully support them.
- Request to access or delete your data
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
- Understand exactly how your data is handled
To request anything, just visit our Contact Page. We'll respond within 24 hours.
5. Final Words
We built Proxy Sniper with privacy in mind — no accounts, no ads, no surveillance. We believe tools should work for users, not against them. This policy was last updated in March 2025 and may be revised if we make changes to how data is handled.
